Kimberly Christensen, MA grew up on the Oregon coast and earned her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. She completed her clinical training in Berkeley, CA and is working on a doctoral degree in Depth Psychology with Somatics specialization. As a Marriage and Family Therapist intern, she is finishing her requirements for licensure and is supervised by Gary Reiss, PhD.

Ms. Christensen has been involved in the depth psychology community for many years and participated in numerous classes and workshops on embodied presence and healing. Her approach to counseling begins with the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. This holistic approach focuses on health and wholeness rather than pathology. Her goal is to help individuals feel, digest and embody the full range of human emotions leading to the experience of being alive and living in the present. Providing a heart-centered and emotionally safe environment to explore issues helps facilitate growth and blossoming. Sessions build upon each other and support growth, healing, and embodied presence.
